My name is Mike Smith. I am trying to organize a meeting with Terence Young, MP, Oakville to discuss the unbalanced policy that our Conservative government has with Israel and Palestine.
My primary source on this is Anna Baltzer's book "Witness in Palestine".
My wife and I spent 8 years in Saudi Arabia in the 1980's where we got an insight into the situation in Palestine and made a number of Arab friends.
I am looking for people who have some personal stories of themselves or relatives/friends about some of the displacements or atrocities that have been taken place on the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem or elsewhere in Palestine. Also, if you could come with me to the meeting, it would be great. If you would prefer to just tell me your story for relating to Mr. Young that would be fine too.
I would add your story to this web page and once we have a good quantity of stories, I would take them to Terence Young. I would also invite all contributors to come with me to the meeting.
I have not yet attempted to set up a meeting yet with Mr. Young. I would like to hear from people first and then I will get back to you to get as many of you as possible to attend with me.
