MARKS WIZARD 2.0 has been developed by Doncaster Office Services with the co-operation of a number of schools to meet the needs of elementary and secondary school teachers for a simple, flexible approach to entering and printing Marks and Comments. MARKS WIZARD 2.0 meets that objective with its many, powerful features.

1. MARKS WIZARD 2.0 allows you to set up your Classes quickly. Simply enter your Course Code, Semester, Year and Teacher. If you have set up files previously, you may select from previous choices. The context sensitive Help System can help you along the way.

2. If you or others have already entered students into the files, you may select them to bring them into your own class. Otherwise you can key in your own students directly.

3. If you or others have already entered assignments for a previous course, you may select an Assignment Template from that course and incorporate it into your new course.

4. The Marks Entry Screen gives you full features for changing your marks as below:
a) Your marks entry screen gives you access to all assignments and all students on the same screen. As you move the cursor, the header updates to tell you details of the assignment and student you are working with.
b) Marks may be entered as a number or as N for “Not Available”. N Marks are excluded from Marks Calculations.
c) Press ReCalc (F9) recalculate your Class Averages and Total Marks for instant updates on screen.
d) Press Students (F2) to Add, Change or Delete Students.
e) Press Assignments (F3) to Add, Change or Delete Assignments.
f) Press Categories (F4) to Add, Change or Delete Categories. Note: it is not necessary that Categories sum to 100. Adjustments are made automatically.
g) Press Mark Method (F5) to set your Mark Method as Marks or PerCent.
h) Press ColOrder (F6) to change how you would like to order your columns on the screen (Category, Title, Date or Sequence).
i) Press Print (F7) to Print.
j) Press Mark Method (F5) to set your Mark Method as Marks or PerCent.
k) Press CourseName (ALT+N) to Change Course Name.
l) Press Teacher 1 (ALT+1) to Change the name of Teacher 1.
m) Press Teacher 2 (ALT+2) to Change the name of Teacher 2.
n) Press Comments (ALT+M) to Enter or Print Comments for the highlighted student.
o) Press View Marks (ALT+V) to View or Print the Marks of the Highlighted Student showing Category details.
p) Press Out Of (ALT+O) to Change the Out Of figure for the highlighted Assignment.
q) Press Assignment (ALT+A) to Change the Assignment Title.
r) Press Select Assignment (ALT+S) to move directly to a particular Assignment Column.
s) Press Category (ALT+C) to change the Category of the highlighted assignment.
t) Click Orange Column Header to change the order of the Rows (Student Name or Total Marks).

5. The Print Screen gives you a choice of Vertical or Horizontal Reports. You may also make selections as to:
- Detail or Summary
- Page Breaks On or Off
- Student Address Detail On or Off

You may also filter the reports for:
- Selected Students
- Selected Assignments
- Selected Date Range

The Horizontal Reports require MS Excel on your computer. After the MS Excel Files are created, you may customize the reports with special fonting or borders.

6. You may view reports on screen before printing to assure that you have the correct report.

7. Our Configuration screens permit quick setup of your School, Board and Password information.

8. Modern screen features give you access to Calendar Tools when setting dates, combo lists inside of your tables when selecting Categories and directory trees when selecting file locations.

9. MARKS WIZARD 2.0 provides a full range of utilities to support your work:
- Files may be saved to and retrieved from the System Directory, a Server Directory or a floppy disk.
- Saving to a floppy disk permits Teachers to enter their marks at home and bring the files to school for final updating and printing.
- Teachers may assign Passwords to themselves to assure confidentiality of their Marks and Comments files.
- All files may be backed up to a file server or other secure location.

Teacher copies are available for $49 and school copies for $250 plus applicable Provincial and Federal Taxes. Teacher copies may be used by one teacher. School copies may be used by all teachers in a particular school.

Your Marks Files developed with a Trial copy will be preserved when you order your Teacher or School Upgrade.
